Abbe Knorek, founder of BrightStar Consulting Group, has been working in the Human Resources field directly and indirectly for more than 30 years. Abbe holds a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University, and has extensive expertise in FMLA and ADA compliance, leaves administration, and training and development.

Her goal in founding BrightStar Consulting is to bring support to organizations who are either struggling to effectively manage the complex regulations of FMLA and ADA or just need some assistance to ensure that their current processes are streamlined and compliant. BrightStar Consulting Group is based in West Michigan and works with employers throughout the United States.
